The Arcata Playhouse ‘s core mission is to use live performance as a tool to build a community that is inspired and empowered to work together for the common good. And in recent years, as a member of the Creamery District, Arcata Playhouse has led the charge to host many successfully neighborhood events, street redevelopment and creative commerce including Humboldt Made member, Wrangletown Cider Company, a new deliciously fermented sector of the neighborhood pouring both cider and wine made from Northern California grapes.
Humboldt Made is well known for celebrating the entrepreneurial people and artisan products made in beautiful, Humboldt County, California; a perfect teammate for this super local event. We all know Humboldt Made as the visionary behind some amazing brand incubation for many of our local small businesses. Humboldt Made brought in a variety of fermented businesses, including the delicious, It’s Alive Kombucha, and planning began fervently for Humboldt's first Fervor Fest.
Not only does this event bring the most delicious fermented products to you in one place, in a beautified art district, but it also provides fundraising for two very important non-profit organizations in our community who are working endlessly to create a better community for everyone: Arcata Playhouse and Humboldt Made. Each ticket sold supports the idea that the Arts and small local businesses are important for a thriving community.
